Who runs the team:

Dan Unter’s passion is helping good companies achieve great things—from cleantech to marketplaces, and from startups to IPO.

Dan Unter's passion is helping good companies achieve great things, from cleantech to marketplaces, and from startups to IPO.

Dan is a founder, an operator and an attorney. He founded Kitch, a marketplace connecting underused commercial kitchens with food operators. He raised $500K, reached $80K a month in sales in the first year, and grew the company to 11 markets before it was acquired by a large ghost-kitchen company. He is also a Founder-in-Residence at Antler, and today he is Chief Revenue Officer at Favordrop, where he owns revenue and P&L.

As a general counsel, Dan helped build legal departments at three technology companies that were each later acquired or merged: Spruce Technologies (Apple), SchoolNet (Pearson) and MessageLabs (Symantec). He has also worked on financings, stock matters and M&A diligence.

He has been cooking professionally since he was 16, in country clubs, Michelin-starred restaurants and pizzerias.
